Main Gate

It is the main gate of Miidera, built as an entrance to Minamiin. From middle age Miidera was divided in three parts: Kitain (North temple), Nakain (Central Temple) and Minamiin (South Temple), and it harbored a lot of warrior monks. This yakuimon gate, built in stone, is secure and strong like a castle gate.
