Bronze Bell-Shaped Vessel of Ichirobo
It is a 90.9-centimeter-high large bronze bell-shaped vessel with a lattice-like pattern. It is believed to have been produced approximately 2,000 years ago. In 1806 in the late Edo Period [between the 18th and mid-19th centuries], it was excavated from a rice field of Ichirobo in Terabe Village [now around Ishiyamadera 4-chome] and was designated as an Important Cultural Property. It is enshrined in the main hall of Ishiyamadera Temple.
