Onjōji Temple’s Kangaku-in’s Reception Hall

Along with Kōjōin Kyakuden is one of the best example of shoin. It is known as a model of shudenzukuri, bushi residence of Muromachi period. Built in 1600 (5th year of Keichō Era) by Mōri Terumoto, is divided in 9 rooms; in south ōyuka, and in the first and second room there are paintings on fusuma by Kanō Mitsunobu.
