Ryukoku University Seta Campus Jushinkan

The building was originally built as Osaka Minami Police Station in 1885. Later, it was relocated twice. It was relocated again in the current location as a chapel in 1994, and its name was also changed to Jushinkan. It is a wooden two-story building with a hipped roof with pantiles and has a clapboard exterior. The protruded front porch has a carving of acanthus which is decorated on the transom on the first floor. On the second floor, Ionic order pillars support a pediment on the balcony. In spite of being relocated three times, the original appearance has been well maintained. It is a valuable building as the rare remains of a police station building in the Meiji Era [1868–1912].
