Rokasensuisō Villa

The Rokasensuisō Villa is a local residence of the Nihonga Master Yamamoto Shunkyo (the building is an important cultural property). In the residence there is a memorial hall which enshrines teacher Mori Kansai and others, the garden excludes artificial hills and complex arrangements of stones, and by adopting the method of landscape painting, beautiful sceneries of the mountains and Lake Biwa on the other side can be captured.
