Mio Yōgo-ishi Stone

As you climb up the approach road leading from Yotsutsuji of the Kangakuin temple to Yamanote, a big stone is settled in the stone shaped enclosure. It is said that Mio Akitsukami will descend from this rock, and is the reason why it is called Mio Yōgo-ishi Stone. Mio Akitsukami is the land owning deity of Nagarayama, and has been treated as a guardian of Miidera Nanin.
