Honjū-in Temple

Honjuin is a priest’s temple quarters belonging to Nanin temple in the Miidera temple, restored by Shoyobo Joken during the Keicho era (1615 – 1624). The current building was rebuilt in the 2nd year of the Bunkyu era (1862), it was renovated in 2014 and was renewed as a resting area called “Nagara Teahouse” for the pilgrims.
